Law360 recently highlighted the addition of Joshua Masur as a partner in the Intellectual Property Group with Jeffer Mangels & Mitchell LLP (JMM) in the article, “Veteran Patent Atty Joins Jeffer Mangels in San Francisco.” Masur brings more than 30 years of experience as patent attorney and joins JMM from the boutique IP firm HG Law LLP.
Masur said the move to JMM gives him and his clients a wider range of legal services, allowing for the firm to handle more matters internally versus having to refer them to outside counsel.
“The firm’s strength in intellectual property litigation was obviously a key factor, but I was also attracted to the breadth of the firm’s practices — both those that are directly related to mine like data privacy and the more conventional full-service law firm capabilities,” Masur said. “Being at Jeffer Mangels & Mitchell allows me to expand the relationship with my clients across all of the firm’s full-service capabilities.”
